Access to Information & Protection of Privacy

Under the provincial Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA), York University is expected to both provide access to its information, and also to protect the privacy of the personal information it collects from individuals.  This course will provide you with an understanding of FIPPA's access to information requirements and privacy provisions, and how they affect you as an employee at York.
